First Insight, Inc. is seeking a Dev-Ops Engineer for its InsightSuite team. In this position, you will be part of an agile team and will be responsible for managing the deployment and hosting of the InsightSuite solution and its sub-systems, that enable global brands and retailers make better product selection, pricing, and planning decisions. We are looking for candidates with an obsessive focus on secure and scalable hosting solutions with a passion for cloud computing and are interested in growing their technology skills and a desire to make a global impact in a fast-growing company. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure to support First Insight’s InsightSuite solution.
  • Collaborate with development and QA to design and develop an automation framework to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Monitor and maintain the health of the application infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the application’s disaster recovery and business continuity planning including routine tests.
  • Jointly responsible for SOC2 compliance and coordinate periodic audits.
  • Provide technical contract review support regarding customer SLAs.

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification

University degree in computer science, information systems, or another rigorous discipline is required.
An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technology production support.
  • 2+ years experience with AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge in Unix/Linux based systems.
  • Strong CS fundamentals, proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
  • Exposure to SOC2 audits and principles.
